seeing them miss the playoffs last year was golden. I would love nothing more for them to miss the playoffs again.

I agree with you, anytime the Yankees lose or miss out on the post season is awesome. I love hearing ESPN question what's wrong with them, then see the Yankees spend big in the offseason, and still miss out on the playoffs the following season. Nothing is sweeter than that.

I love it, because I hate them. But I hate because my friends love them and won't stop changing the subject every time I bring the term baseball up.

I love ESPN always questioning what's wrong with them too.

I love when they always spend big money on new free agents and find a new way to choke.

Im enjoying the Red Sox 8-0 record.vs.the Yankees right now.

Its also fun seeing the Steinbreinners throw a fit and start whining about how poorly they are playing.

Seeing the Yankees fail is sweet, seeing the Red Sox beat them for me is really sweet too lol

But it's also quite sad. I mean, the history of their team is no other in the history of sports. 27 World Series Championships. Babe Ruth. Joe Dimaggio. Mickey Mantle. So much more. Yet these players today, Derek Jeter, Mark Texiera, Alex Rodriguez, Mariana Rivera. Why such defeat every single time? They probably look up to those greats who made their moves with the Yankees, and nervous because they know they are the leaders of the team, but will never, ever, ever be as great as them.
