This is the new 'Best Division'

In my opinion, this Division has surpassed the Southwest Division. Southeast has a 3, 4, and 5 seed teams. While Southwest has 3, 5, 6, and 7 seed teams.

Orlando vs. San Antonio: ORLANDO
Orlando vs. Dallas: ORLANDO
Orlando vs. Houston: ORLANDO
Orlando vs. New Orleans: ORLANDO
Orlando vs. Memphis: ORLANDO

No doubt that Orlando is the best from these two divisions.

Atlanta vs. San Antonio: ATLANTA
Atlanta vs. Dallas: ATLANTA
Atlanta vs. Houston: ATLANTA
Atlanta vs. New Orleans: ATLANTA
Atlanta vs. Memphis: ATLANTA

Atlanta is definitely second.

Miami vs. San Antonio: MIAMI
Miami vs. Dallas: DALLAS
Miami vs. Houston: HOUSTON
Miami vs. New Orleans: MIAMI
Miami vs. Memphis: MIAMI

Charlotte vs. San Antonio: SAN ANTONIO

Half of the Western Conference playoff field was from that division

The Southeast is the most evenly matched division in the NBA for next year, but I still think the Southwest has more talent, but not by much. Also, the Southwest Division has four solid teams, though the Spurs and Mavs are aging in critical areas and one clear weak link in Memphis. Meanwhile, NO Southeast team is getting critically old (overall) yet. The team most likely to improve drastically here is the Wizards, since the 5th pick will come to DC, or that pick would be traded for a solid vet entering his prime, and if things play right, the Wizards could be a top three seed with homecourt advantage for at least the first round. Then again, Orlando should remain superb, and the Hawks and Heat are continuing to improve too. I also think the Bobcats will make a move to get their team over the hump.... I said it in Y!A before, but the 16 division games the Wizards, Magic, Heat, Hawks, and Bobcats play next season will be a bloodbath, barring crazy trades and/or mass injuries.

Agreed. Washington and Charlotte is both young teams that can gain a lot right now. Once they get it, they could also be contenders. As for Washington being a Top 3 Seed, I don't know. If Butler, Jamison, and Arenas stay healthy all year, the are definitely getting into the play-offs, but probably not Top 3. Charlotte, again, is young and has a lot of room to grow on. For example, shooting. The only shooters they have are Diaw and Bell. Once they get more and better shooters, they could be dangerous. The Heat could be on the down fall, especially if Wade leaves in 2010. But they have Cook, Chalmers, Beasley, and more young players who, if they can get used to being in the NBA, will be a major help towards Dwyane Wade and could even get him another ring if they work extremely hard. The Hawks needed experience a few years ago but they got it with Bibby. Not only that, but 2008 Boston Celtics, 2009 Miami Heat, and 2009 Cleveland Cavaliers, all toughened them up for the years to come. The Magic, whether the win or lose, will have much more experience for the years to come with this play-off run. I agree, it'll be a blood bath (hard to think of it like that ) and it'll be very interesting to see who prevails through.
