| the best sports series of all-time not just baseball in my opinion.
The Sox were 3 outs away from losing the series were down 3-0 in the series and fighting the supposed "curse of the Bambino".
The Sox had 2 incredible comebacks in Games 4 and 5 than went back to Yankee Stadium to take 2 games and win 4-3 with the biggest comeback in sports history.
The Sox had come from behind down 3-0 being the only team in sports history outside of the NHL to do so against their long time rivals. Red Sox would eventually go on to win the World Series.
