| No. THey had Ginobli injured in the Play-offs. Maybe one more year. Of course, nobody expects them to win another Championship, but they could get to the WCF when healthy. | |

| not quite yet, Parker and duncan are getting older and older, just like everybody else on their team. Give them a couple more years and they will be truly finished. | |

| Woah. Parker 27. He has another All-Star season, then 2 star seasons after that, then 2 average seasons, then he's done at 32. | |

| yeah they're an aging team, they're finished just like the pistons. It's the death of a dynasty. It was a cool era though. | |

| I totally agree. I love watching Pistons Spurs. Even now, rivalry is still in them. Of course, no more Billups, Brown, Wallace, etc. It was an 'amazing' rivalry that people should pay attention to more. 2005 NBA Finals was no doubt the best of this decade. Heck, I think it was the best of the last 20 years. Hamilton Ginobli. Duncan Wallace. Billups Parker. Great rivalry. I hope it opens up again later. With players like Stuckey and Prince for Detroit. And other players for the Spurs. | |

| Yeah the 2005 finals were incredible. I loved that pistons starting 5 - I really wanted them to win. I remember Robert Horry's 3 point in overtime... it was crazy! | |

| YES!!! The Detroit starting five was amazing. I loved it too! Billups Hamilton Prince Wallace Wallace. In my opinion, that was the most 'pure' and 'true' NBA line-up ever. | |

-A Fellow Melo Supporter Chris Paul can't own his own era. He has to be the Pippen to someone else's Jordan.

| Wow I even the CP3's era ended after the Nuggets kill them in the 1st round series, which Nuggets win with 58 points difference.
I hope they don't make Play off next year.

| Yes, sadly. Duncan is at the end of his prime, Ginobili is at the end of his prime too, and there are a number of old players, like Bowen and Oberto. Tony Parker will keep this team overachieving or playing to their potential as it is, but the Spurs need to find some key steals either in the draft (Parker and Ginobili were draft steals), or in free agency (Roger Mason, Jr.). That's how perennially good teams continue to stay good when they don't get one of the top few draft picks.
Just because it's the end of an era doesn't mean that the Spurs will be in the cellar for the next 10 years. They still have the staff to do this.

Duncan can still get frequent Double Doubles and Ginobli is still capable of getting 20-30 points in a series of games. Parker, yes, will stay as a All-Star Caliber player but it won't be enough. As I said about Paul and the Hornets, Parker has to be the Pippen to someone else's Jordan. It was Duncan, now they need to find someone new, quickly, before even Parker ages.

| I think they might have one year left.
But you can be good and only go so far, you have to be really good to win it all. The San Antonio Spurs were, but aren't anymore.
Older and Slower take you down fast. While they have talent, the run of extreme dominance is likely over.

| I dont think the Spurs have it left in them to be the dominant team they were anymore.
Duncan is still one of the Top 5 in the NBA but Ginobli was injured. Parker is still good.
The role players are old and slow now and they dont have the depth they once did.
They also dont a scorer who can consistently create. I dont know if we will see another championship from them in the next few years

| If the Spurs all their player healthy then yea. If Manu and Tony Parker assist Tim Duncan, he'll probably make it.
Next year. Spurs: 2nd seed.
